Most accommodations are located at the Ft Pierce interchanges with i_95 or the FL Turnpike (about a mile apart) which are both at State Road 70 (Okeechobee Rd).

From turnpike or I-95 at the Ft. Pierce Exit: Head east on Okeechobee Rd. to US #1. Make a left onto US #1. Go north to Georgia Ave. (est: one mile). Post #40 and parking lot are on the right.

Sightseeing: Ft. Pierce has a lovely downtown area  with shops and restaurants. Head north to Ave “A”. Turn right. One block past the train tracks is 2nd st. Parking is one block further east.

To the beach: From the post, head norht on US 1. Turn right at A1A. Continue straight.
