The 2017 Department Convention will be held from Thursday, June 29, to Sunday July 2, 2017, at the Marriott Orlando World Center.  Please review this page periodically to find updated information and documents regarding this event.

VOLUNTEERS

If you are interested in volunteering for Department Convention, please email Shaneece Dixon at adminasst@alafl.org, with your preferred days and times of availability.

***Please allow at least one hour when scheduling your volunteer time.***

DURING Convention, these are the days and times needed for volunteers:

Thursday, June 29: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday, June 30: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 1: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (TENTATIVE)

NOTE: We will also need assistance at Department Headquarters prior to the week of Convention. Only necessary for volunteers in the Orlando/Central FL area.

Jump the Line

NOTE: We will continue with “Jump the Line” passes this year. In order to qualify for one, your unit MUST  complete the following:

  • Pay your quotas
  • Pay any outstanding invoices
  • Have no short monies on Membership
  • Turn in 2017-2018 Officers List (all members listed MUST be paid thru 2017).
  • Pay all Poppy Proceeds prior to Convention.
